He is training at the Mexico MTC or the CCM as they call it down there and then will head off to NY in July! These are his adventures for family and friends to read and stay in touch with him. Please email him at:

Elder Allen left very early on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017. It was a tough car ride to the airport and before we knew it he was going through security and getting patted down for having gummy bears in his carry on....way to go dad!! haha! We watched him make it through security and then it was a long day waiting to hear he made it ok!
Here was his first email to us:
Hey momma! Made it to Mexico fine, they just wanted us to email real quick and let you know we´re here! My pday is wednesday, but not till next wednesday for us so ill be sending an actual email then! Tell everyone i love them and already miss them, but im so hyped to be here (even though im dying of hunger right now) Mexico drivers are crazy and its humid and warm here haha but its awesome and the mcc (mexico mtc) sounds and looks so dope. 90 acres in all. haha love you talk to you soon!

During his first week at the CCM he got to meet Elder MacDonald! He is the son of our good friends from high school! Elder MacDonald had been at the CCM for a while and actually went out to the field on Monday. Elder Allen said that he was so cool and it was great to meet him and they will definitely keep in touch while serving!
Elder Allen and Elder MacDonald! :)
Elder Allen also got to meet a wonderful chef there at the CCM named Esteban. Some other missionary moms let me know about him and what a great guy he is and how he loves to cook and become friends with all the missionaries! Esteban messaged us and told us that our Elder Allen only spoke a little Spanish when they met and Esteban speaks no English but they were able to communicate! haha! Elder Allen says that now whenever he sees Esteban they give each other a fist bump! :)
Esteban and Elder Allen!
What a blessing it is to be able to receive pictures! We are so excited to hear how his first week went in the CCM! Grateful for all the young men and women and senior couples that choose to the serve the Lord. <3
