Que tal el frío?

Such a good week!  We got transfer calls and I'll be staying in Long Island for Christmas! Elder Mansfield and I will be holding down the Plainview zone for another transfer. Boutta see some awesome stuff here!!

Side note: We have mice in our apartment and my companion killed one with a mug. It was awesome. Also a family we are teaching found a really badly wounded cat on the side of the road and didn't have a car. They asked us to save its life, so we took it to the nearest vet emergency room and they put it down  :( This dude was beat up  though so definitely a good play call. 😂

One of the coolest things I have seen this week has been the power the Book of Mormon has.

We have been focusing all of our efforts on getting people to read, pray, and come to church. As these people have been taking those small steps, their lives have literally been changing in so many aspects. They have left addictions,  humbled themselves, found happiness, and literally had God put things into their lives that they needed at the moment.

The Book of Mormon literally gives us the strength we need to continue to follow Christ, so that God can provide us with blessings. Read it!

Week 3: 3 Weeks Down!

Me and my district!  Over halfway done with the mtc! It is flying by right now I honestly want it to slow down because it's honestly so fun right now. My district is hilarious and we all have a ton of fun while still getting everything done and staying obedient. Perfect combo! This past week has legit been so awesome. Our District :) So on Friday we had our first TRC. That stands for Teaching Resource Center, and it's where REAL recent converts, long time members, and sometimes real investigators volunteer to come in and get taught by us. It's crazy because you have no clue who these people are and you're supposed to teach them the restoration right off the bat and they speak super fast, but it's all good! Such a dope experience honestly. We actually didn't realize that the first girl we taught was already a member, so we invited her to be baptized.... whoops. But she played along and said yes haha. Week 2: Segundo Semana!

 Our District at the Mexico Temple!  Going into my third week here at the CCM! Not gonna lie, that first week was rough. It honestly felt like 3 months not 7 days. This past week flewwww by though! The language is coming a lot quicker now, and our district is awesome so time flies. It honestly is a lot of fun right now, which is not what I expected haha. And it helps that my mom is sending me packages with American food all the time, so shout out to momma Butta for that.  the clouds here look fake they're so puffy lol it's awesome    So David A. Bednar came to the Provo Mtc on Tuesday, and we got to listen to a live broadcast of it! That was awesome, and the spirit was crazy during it. Bednar is top 5 apostles all time no doubt. He's finally starting to age though which is crazy cause he looked like a 30 year old the past 10 years. 6/11/18: Agradecido

Hey everyone! Hope you've all had a great week!  This week went by way too quick, and it was filled with so many cool things.  First off, we had an amazing lesson on Friday night. We had contacted a guy on the bus a few weeks back and had never been able to meet up but we finally got an appointment. We went over for only 20 minutes and had one of the most spiritual lessons on the restoration ever. As Elder Jensen said the first vision I had another witness that it really happened, and that because God loves us he has yet again called a prophet to lead and guide the people.  That leads right in to zone conference this past week. We had it up in Scarsdale where the mission home is, and it was the most powerful one I've been to. It was the last one with president Smith, and we focused on Joseph smith's experience.
